Baked sardines with white wine and breadcrumbs

Categorías: Uncategorized
We don’t always have the chance to eat a good “espeto malagueño” with those sardines that melt on the palate.

In La Tienda de Sami we are going to show you how to make baked sardines in just a few steps.

Sardines baked in the oven with white wine and breadcrumbs
You can also include some delicious jacket potatoes as an accompaniment to this stew, but we’ll leave that up to you.

1 ½ kg. of large sardines
5 tablespoons of oil
1 glass (not full) of Cucamonas verdejo wine (not full)
3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs.
1 soup spoonful of chopped parsley
The juice of ½ lemon
40 gr. of butter
Remove the heads and bones from the sardines. Wash and dry very well.
Lightly salt the inside of the sardines (where the bones have been removed).
Pour the oil into a porcelain or ovenproof glass baking dish.
Place the raw sardines in such a way that they are not piled on top of each other.
Sprinkle with the white wine and lemon juice.
Sprinkle with the chopped parsley and then with the breadcrumbs.
Top with the diced butter and bake in a medium-hot oven for about 15 minutes, basting occasionally with the juices.
Serve in the same dish.
Our mouths are already watering at the thought of it!
