At La Tienda de Sami, we’re going to teach you how to make baked sardines in a few steps.
Baked sardines with white wine and breadcrumbs
You can also include some delicious potato chips as a side dish for this recipe, but we’ll leave that up to you.
Ingredients
1 ½ kg of large sardines
5 tablespoons of oil
1 glass (not full) of Cucamonas Verdejo wine
3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
Juice of ½ lemon
40 g of butter
Salt
Preparation
Remove the heads and bones from the sardines. Wash and dry them thoroughly.
Lightly salt the inside of the sardines (where the bones were removed).
Pour the oil into an oven-safe porcelain or glass baking dish.
Place the raw sardines in the dish so that they are not piled on top of each other.
Drizzle with white wine and lemon juice.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and then with breadcrumbs.
Cover with butter cubes and bake at medium temperature for about 15 minutes, basting occasionally with the juices.
Serve in the same dish.
Our mouths are watering just thinking about it.
