Lentils with chorizo
You can substitute the chorizo with chistorra, although if you use chorizo, it’s always better with bread.
Ingredients
300 g of lentils.
50 g of red bell pepper
50 g of green bell pepper
100 g of onion
50 g oil
50 g leek
2 garlic cloves
1 carrot
100 g of chorizo
100 g of diced ham
1 tablespoon of sweet paprika
1 bay leaf
900 g of water
Preparation
Soak the lentils for at least 3 hours before cooking.
Cut the onion, peppers, leek, garlic, and carrot into 2/3 cm pieces.
Sauté in oil for about 8 minutes.
In a pot, combine the sautéed vegetables, paprika, chorizo, washed and drained lentils, diced ham, bay leaf, and water.
Cook for 30 minutes.
Now you have delicious lentils!
