Lentils with chorizo
You can substitute the chorizo for chistorra sausage, although if you use chorizo, it is always better with bread.
Ingredients
300 g lentils.
50 gr red pepper
50 gr green pepper
100 gr onion
50 gr oil
50 gr leek
2 cloves of garlic
1 carrot
100 g chorizo sausage
100 g diced ham
1 tablespoon sweet paprika
1 laurel leaf
900 g water
Preparation
Soak the lentils for at least 3 hours beforehand.
Cut the onion, peppers, leek, garlic and carrot into 2/3 cm pieces.
Sauté in oil for about 8 minutes.
Add the sofrito, paprika, chorizo, lentils (washed and drained), diced ham, bay leaf and water to a saucepan.
Cook for 30 minutes.
Now you have some delicious lentils!
